Photo: A West Queen West Pit

Today, if you go to the spot on Queen Street West where this photograph was taken you'll find the Bohemian Embassy condo development, because if it's one thing that Toronto certainly doesn't have enough of it's condominiums. Back in August 2008 preliminary construction had only just begun, with the foundation excavated and little else. I didn't notice the metal of the chain link fence this photo was taken through actually showing up at the time--now, though, I feel like it adds some artistic style.
