PDP #260: Why So Serious

At Queen Street East and Jones Avenue in the east end of Toronto, there's a mural that commemorates Alexander Muir, a one-time resident of Leslieville who wrote "The Maple Leaf Forever," one of Canada's few patriotic songs and the unofficial anthem of English Canada before "O Canada" really caught on. It seems that when I was through there back in May, someone had gone and replaced Muir's face with the Joker's.

Hopefully it's been cleaned off by now.

  1. that's awful. :(

I pass by that mural every day, so i haven't seen that "edit". Talk about removing the innocuous factor.
